Dr. Evan Schlam
Dr. Evan H. Schlam, MD, is a double board-certified dermatologist, specializing in Dermatology and MOHS Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery through the American Board of Dermatology. He earned his medical degree from Chicago Medical School and completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami, where he graduated with honors. Dr. Schlam remains actively involved in education as a volunteer Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the University of Miami.
With expertise in treating a wide range of skin conditions, Dr. Schlam specializes in MOHS Micrographic Surgery for skin cancer removal and advanced reconstructive techniques. In addition, he performs various cosmetic and surgical dermatologic procedures.
Dr. Schlam is a respected leader in the field and currently serves as President of the Florida Academy of Dermatology. He is the former President of both the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the Broward County Dermatological Society, as well as a past president of the esteemed Noah Worcester Dermatological Society. His dedication to dermatologic excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including being named the 2024 Florida Dermatologic Surgeon of the Year by the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is also the recipient of the prestigious George Ioannides Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to resident dermatology education at the University of Miami.
